William John “Bill” Mogg

William John “Bill” Mogg passed away peacefully after a short bout with cancer on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the age of 66 years.

Bill was born on September 30, 1956 in Calgary, Alberta. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Hildegarde Frances Stang (1997) and Harry John Mogg (2005), as well as his younger brother, Bobby (1961).

Bill was the fourth of seven siblings: Dianne (Danny), Betty(Al), Shirley (Jerry), Jean (Terry), Bobby, and Lorrie (Brian).

Bill was a devoted employee of Panasonic Canada for 21 years. He took great pride in his interactions with his customers. To describe Bill, you have to start with his childish grin and the glint in his eye that was a permanent fixture. He was best known for his quick wit and dry sense of humor. Bill always had a one liner at the ready and you could see the anticipation in his eyes while he waited for you to catch on and share in the laughter. Bill loved his family more than anything and looked forward to catching up with his siblings to hear all about the adventures of them and their children. He looked for enjoyment in life and had a knack for seeing the positive side of everything. Bill never had a bad word to say about anyone, accepted everyone exactly as they were, and wore his heart on his sleeve. He lived a simple life of kindness and will forever live on in the laughter of all those who loved him.

There will be a private family memorial for bill at a later date.
